Thank you for visiting my website. I am a clinical psychologist in independent practice since 1999. My office is conveniently located near the Old Orchard Rd. exit from the Edens Expressway. I see a wide range of clients, with specializations in the treatment of young children with their parents, adolescents, adults and couples. I utilize an eclectic array of interventions intended to both alleviate distressing symptoms and further personal development as well as improve the quality of relationships.

About my practice

Life has no guarantees, except for one…change is inevitable.  Nothing stays the same. Therapy is an opportunity to harness the energy of this change, allowing you to move forward in new ways and create new psychological and relational patterns in your life. My goal, as a psychologist and psychotherapist, is to help individuals and families determine how they want to direct the force created by change to achieve new goals and patterns. Identifying and practicing new ways to be in the world involves all psychological domains: how one thinks, feels, relates and behaves. I help my clients integrate and connect these psychological domains so therapy can have its greatest impact.

I strongly believe that each person comes to the therapy ready to work at their own pace and in their own way.  My effectiveness comes from a deep appreciation of the individuality of the therapeutic process and a valuing of the collaboration this requires; allowing each person to dictate how we move forward together. No recipe is right for everyone as it needs to reflects each individual’s history and developmental place. The constant is the relationship developed in the process, embedded in the warmth, honesty, genuineness, and caring that I bring to each meeting. I believe strongly in this recipe and have found it successful. My work is informed by developmental, family systems and psychodynamic frameworks.

I offer a comfortable, relaxed and private setting for my clients.

I provide individual therapy for adults and adolescents, dyadic (parent-child), family and couples therapy for a wide range of presenting concerns including:

I also provide consultation and supervision services.

I accept Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO insurance in my practice as an in-network provider.  I am willing to work with other insurers to assure maximum benefit for my clients as an out-of-network provider.  Fees are set at the first meeting.
